NESA

Introducing ai’s native asset: NESA token

NESA tokens are an essential component powering the blockchain network for trusted AI.

Payment for AI transactions

Payment for AI transactions

Every time Nesa executes an AI inference, part of the transaction payment sent to Nesa is shared with the miner, validator, and model owner. NESA is purchased and distributed to them as their reward.

Securing the network

Securing the network

To be a miner or validator on Nesa Chain, a certain amount of NESA must be staked to secure the network. NESA holders may also designate their NESA to other miners to profit-share on AI inference transactions, as a form of liquid staking.

For all AI inference transactions on Nesa, NESA is the default gas token. This includes all AI inference executed on the Playground, through the API, and vis AI Link™.

Network participants

Miner
Nesa miners and Nesa validators on the network are paid for their work in NESA.
App user
App users pay for AI inference on the network in stable, which is converted to NESA.
Model owner
AI model owners on the Nesa platform are paid for their contribution in NESA.
How NESA Transactions work:

PayForQuery

To publish data on Nesa developers can submit PayForQuery transactions. Each PayForQuery transaction is split into two parts:

The inference query which includes the data to be made available along with the namespace and signature, and the NESA token executable payment transaction which includes a commitment to the data. The block data is extended using erasure coding and then Merkelized into a data root commitment included in the block header.
